Weddings can be performed at any time during the day, evening or night. It can be an early morning hot air balloon ride or a surprise wedding for the guests in the evening. A small wedding can be as few as five people (bride, groom, two witnesses and the celebrant). Many weddings are conducted in private homes for intimacy and cost saving.
A month and a day notice is a legal requirement in Australia and this entails filling out and signing a Notice of Intention of Marriage form.
